Where hunters drive from
Between the number one and number two deer counties in Ohio.
Fresno sits on State Route 93 between West Lafayette and Baltic. Most of my hunters come from Coshocton, Holmes and Tuscarawas counties. Plenty drive further.

Questions I get
Straight answers.
Do you mount anything other than whitetail?
No, and that’s on purpose. Whitetail shoulder, pedestal and backpack mounts are what I do, so every hour in the shop makes me better at exactly the mount you’re bringing me.
How do I get a spot?
Text me a photo of your buck. I take a limited number of mounts each season so I can give each one the time it deserves, and I’ll tell you right away whether I have room. When I do, we set a drop-off appointment.
How long will it take?
Professional tanning and proper drying can’t be rushed, and I won’t pretend otherwise. What I can promise is that a capped book means your buck isn’t waiting in line behind two hundred others. You’ll get an honest date range at drop-off, a text when he’s ready, and if you need it by a specific date, ask about rush service.
Where did you train?
I completed the Whitetail A–Z program at Lone Leaf Taxidermy School in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, under Casey Watterson, a 2024 World Champion and 22-time Ohio state champion. Before that, two years of Natural Resources at the Coshocton County Career Center and a lifetime of whitetail hunting. I keep studying anatomy and reference every season because the animal is the standard.
What if I’m not happy with it?
Then I’m not done. We look at it together at pickup, and if something isn’t right, I make it right before it leaves the shop.
What do I need to bring?
Your deer (or the frozen cape and antlers), your Ohio game-check confirmation, and the 50% deposit. Bring any field photos you have so I can match your buck.
Can I bring a cape that’s already frozen?
Yes. Fold it skin-to-skin, bag it tight, and keep it frozen until drop-off. If you’re not sure how it was skinned, text me a photo first.
Do you help pick the pose?
Every time. At drop-off we look at your buck, where the mount is going to hang and how you want him to carry himself, and I’ll give you a straight recommendation.
Can I stop by without an appointment?
Text first, even if it’s ten minutes out. If I’m at the bench with someone else’s buck I want to give them my full attention, and I want to do the same for you when it’s your turn.
